Wartime Channel Islands & Liberation (Guernsey/Jersey)

The Channel Islands fell under Nazi occupation during World War II. Their story is fascinating to say the least; visitors who come to enjoy present day island life are often left intrigued by the lasting remnants, vivid artefacts and wartime memoirs still evident today. With this in mind we have created some very special themed tours of the Channel Islands under occupation, staying in Jersey, Guernsey or perhaps a twin centre of both. Visiting privately owned military museums, bunkers along the Atlantic Wall and hearing wartime stories from expert guides reveal what life was like here under the occupation and the ensuing Liberation.
